Paired an original iPad (which has no camera) running iOS 5.1.1 with iPhone 4 on 6.1.2.
Worked like a charm. Instant recognition via wifi--no settings to set, no codes to enter, no passcode. Can connect via either device, accept on connection on the other. Pick the device on one, accept it on the other.
Shows a full screen, live view on the iPad of what the iPhones camera is looking at. iPhone shows only a mini view; likely to save juice. Can tap on the iPads screen to focus on particular parts of the scene. Takes 5-10 seconds to come into focus on iPad, but you dont have to wait; can snap sooner if desired and photo will be crystal clear. After the first time, seems to snap to focus much faster. Even saves the photo to the iPads camera roll.
I tested this again today, using Bluetooth. BT connection is slightly slower to make and the image slightly blurrier in live view--and doesnt ever seem to come to focus. Wi-fi is the way to go! The app works even over a great distance. I could be on the other side of the house and still see the iPhones view on the iPad.
Alas, two major omissions: no control of zoom and no way of doing video... If the app added those, wed have a definite 5-star app!
I originally rated this 4 stars, but have since discovered that, even after a disconnection, the app continues to block the iPhone from going to sleep! Not good. If I hadt checked, my iPhone would have sat there and run out of juice! Please fix!
Suggestion to developer: change the count down circles numbers! It goes to 99, making it feel as if it has taken 99 seconds instead of the much fewer seconds that it actually takes.
In any event, a brilliant job of programming and a great addition to ones camera and i-device stable! Thanks for making it!

Postscript. Just noticed that one of your photos of the app here shows a picture in picture-- the text says the same. I do not have that when running the app.
